Many organisations have 'communication skills' training in one form or another. These are great at giving skills and improving communication/ customer service interactions. However, real sustained behaviour transformation occurs at the deeper level of individuals' paradigms and organisational systems that impact communication. If the transformation hasn't occurred then the skills can fall off when under pressure or not be translated into differing communication situations.
Authentic engagement is a creative and innovative approach to changing how we interact together; and we know that so much energy is spent managing communication and conflict in one form or another. This programme explores 'engagement' - human interaction at work in any organisation or group and is applicable for all client groups whether one team, cross-team, in an organisational model or with customers. People are challenged to take personal ownership, understand their personal paradigms and understand human interaction at a core level which then allows the skills and best practice to be used in a flexible realistic way consistently.
Principles that underpin the programme:
This programme will explore both traditional and less traditional business communication models in a reflective and experiential process. Examples include Rosenberg's 'Nonviolent communication model', the 'perception model' of communication, the authenticU model, the Virtues project conversation tools, World Café and art of hosting conversations, RESPECT, and many other tools and techniques of engagement excellence.
This works very well when people have completed the Authentic Self programme.
